About us
WE ARE A BIG FAMILY, MADE UP OF MANY SMALL FARMERS
Ital-Frutta was founded on February 6, 1967 by 40 farms of the area, which decided to join forces and create a cooperative society able to store and sell their products.
In the following years, thanks to the principles of mutuality and free cooperation, many other producers have joined the cooperative. Today we have more than 100 members cultivating more than 800 hectares of land in the northern area of the province of Modena.

Our members

Our territory is the real protagonist: We work in an area rich in culture and tradition, which allows us to guarantee high-quality products.
We operate in full respect of the environment: Our products are grown following the Integrated Production Guidelines of the Emilia-Romagna Region and are processed in a modern plant equipped with a photovoltaic system.
AN EVER-EVOLVING
SUSTAINABLE REALITY
In 2012 we had to start from scratch, when we had to rebuild everything that had been destroyed by the earthquake. Since that day, we have worked continuously to create a reality capable of ensuring environmental sustainability and putting the environment and people at the centre, so as to build a better future in small steps.
CERTIFICATIONS
The adoption of certification systems allowed us to improve the management of business processes and increase customer satisfaction as well as guarantee the quality of the products and services we provide.
OUR PRODUCTION:
The fruit and vegetables we grow are the result of careful and skilful work. Every day our members strive to guarantee a high-quality produce, characterized by fruits with unique characteristics.

OF FAMILY FARMING
Family-run farms are the hearth and soul of our cooperative society. They have been cultivating their land for more than 50 years.
We like to see ourselves as a reality that produces large numbers thanks to the sum of many small local farmers.
